Smooth Running of KMB Passenger Liaison Group Meetings

The annual Passenger Liaison Group Meetings of KMB ran smoothly on 18 July 2009. Mr. Edmond Ho, KMB's Managing Director, officiated at the opening ceremony of the event. Passenger representatives from all walks of life were invited to express their views on KMB services. Many creative suggestions received at the meetings that will contribute to the formulation of KMB's development plan in future.

KMB's Passenger Liaison Group Meetings have been organised for 17 consecutive years. This year passenger representatives were arranged into six meeting groups, comprising Kowloon East, Kowloon West, New Territories East, New Territories West, Bus Captains and Frontline Services, and Bus Compartments and Bus Stop Facilities. The meetings had the theme "Sustaining Excellent Bus Services" and the conversations between participants and KMB's management representatives flowed freely. The proceedings of the meetings will be compiled and published in a report which will be available to the public. It will also be distributed to each passenger that took part in the meetings.
