KMB Received “Award of Distinction” from The Community Chest

KMB received an "Award of Distinction" from The Community Chest of Hong Kong in recognition of its enthusiastic participation in various fund-raising activities organised by The Community Chest in 2008/2009. Miss Winnie W.Y. Ho, KMB's Corporate Affairs Director, received the award on behalf of KMB in the "Community Chest 2008/2009 Annual Presentation of Awards" ceremony held recently.

As a responsible corporate citizen, KMB is committed to contributing to society by active participation in charity events. In 2008/2009, KMB took part in a number of fund-raising programmes organised by The Community Chest, such as "Dress Special Day", "The Community Chest Corporate Challenge" and "New Territories Walk for Millions". By supporting charity events like "Hong Kong Brands Week", KMB also helped in raising funds for the Chest. In addition, the company also put great effort into promoting the activities of the Chest through effective media channels such as bus body advertisements and posters.

Besides supporting and participating in Community Chest events, KMB also helped raise funds for the Chest through the charity sale of the KMB Bus Guide.
