“Friends of KMB” Organised “Christmas Bus Ride”

“Friends of KMB” (FRN), in collaboration with the The Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs Association – Integrated Children and Youth Centre at Cheung Sha Wan, organised a “Christmas Bus Ride” for the Centre’s children and parents, sharing the joy of Christmas. FRN arranged a double-deck bus to take the participants to Tsim Sha Tsui to see the Christmas lights. There was also a quiz session and a game named “Searching for Merry Christmas”. They all enjoyed the activities very much and the day ended in fun and laughter.

One FRN member who participated in the event said, “Today’s event is indeed very meaningful. Not only can the children and their parents share the love and joy of Christmas together, their participation in the quiz and the games also enhanced their communication and relationships.”

“Friends of KMB” is a volunteer organisation established by KMB. Besides encouraging members to be self-disciplined and to help and serve others by observing simple civic duties when travelling on KMB, the club has also organised various charitable events and social service activities for its members in the hope of promoting the spirit of social concern and care for others.
